The basics of my solar system:
- 2,130 watts total
- (6) 355-watt panels
- Custom-fabricated mounting system that places it 10″ above my roof (so the vents can still open fully)
- Panels are 24v each, wired in series-parallel for 48v operation
- Outback FlexMax solar charge controller (60-amp version)
- 10 AWG wiring
Panels were purchased from altE store for around $0.70/watt.
