With the smashing of a “champagne” bottle on the hull, I’m off! The AFE (Awesomest Fort Ever) has launched. A couple thousand miles later, I can say the trailer is doing quite well.
I’ve compiled a photo album of (nearly) all the construction photos since lots of people wanted to see those. It’s available here, and it’s *almost* in proper order: https://photos.app.goo.gl/v22FBGM6STjMeoRTA
After departing dry-dock, I headed up to MN to visit friends and family. Spend a couple weeks up there before heading west. I’m currently in some National Forest land (I believe), near Mt. Hood. I’m here with some Xscaper friends and it’s been wonderful thus far! Most of us are working for a good portion of the day then we’ll do some kind of activity in the late afternoon and early evening. Today’s plan is to go swimming at a different lake than where we went swimming yesterday. It’s a rough life. 🙂
I’m planning on staying here until late next week before starting towards Redmond, Oregon for the Xscapers convergence. I’m getting caught up on work and hanging out with friends. Life’s good!
Glad to have you back!
